# Overview

STIMS is the native token of the deployer. Holding STIMS is how the community participates in the deploys, the locked positions, and the trading fees those positions generate.

## The basics

## Bonding curve

STIMS launches on a custom bonding curve with the following parameters:

The deployer position is locked at launch, with the trading fees it earns flowing back to presale wallets through the [\$STIMS Revenue stream](/for-stakers/overview).

## Fee structure

Trading fees on STIMS are split into multiple components depending on whether the token is in the bonding-curve phase or post-graduation.

### Bonding curve phase

The **Custom Fee** component (1.00% in both phases) is what flows back to STIMS stakers through the [\$STIMS Revenue](/for-stakers/overview) stream. The other components are platform and protocol fees.
